KYS UUSI SYDÄN

Uusi sydän renovation project for KYS is a designed in collaboration with Architects Kontukoski Oy and Rakennussuunnittelutoimisto Turnuen & Räsänen Ky. The comission includes head and construction planning. Architecture designers work in alliance together with A-Insinöörit, Suunnittely Oy and Granlund Kuopio Oy.

Uusi Sydän project covers hospital Puijo’s bed unit’s renovation, outpatient clinics and logistic facilities and a new 9-storey hospital building. The hospital’s bed units are built in 1950s. The hospital building built in 1985 will be demolished. The aim is to build a hospital which adapts to changes in a life cycle and serves the needs of the users.
